Stellar Compendium is an ongoing series of drawings inspired by ancient celestial rock carving depictions from around the world. The series explores differing and common visual symbols across cultures and time used to depict the language of the stars. Its final form, Stellar Compendium: Ad Infinitum, will be an infinitely expandable accordion-fold artist book comprising these star symbols. It will serve as an artistic visual lexicon of human rendered star depictions.
